The 26th Mindanao Business Conference (MinBizCon) 2017 at Xavier Estates Sports and Country Club in Cagayan de Oro City last September 7-9, 2017 with a delegation from the European Union (EU) as the latest confirmed participants in Mindanao’s largest annual business conference.
Hosted by the Cagayan de Oro City Chamber of Commerce & Industry Foundation, Inc. (Oro Chamber), the gathering of business leaders is being held under the auspices of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) with the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA); the Department of Science and Technology (DOST); the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental and the Department of Agriculture (DA) as the co-convenor; and the City government of Cagayan de Oro and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) as cooperator.
The conference’s theme is “Emerging Opportunities, ONE-MINDANAO” and is expected to provide business linkages and network and the best opportunities to meet the country’s business leaders, stakeholders and government policy makers who will discuss innovative ideas and action agenda towards building a strong and resilient Mindanao economy.

Promote NorMin Foundation participating in Kahimunan Christmas Bazaar last November 13-30, 2017. Where products from Northern Mindanao are featured in a 18 day Christmas Bazaar at Ayala Centrio, Cagayan de Oro City.
Products such as Processed Foods, Crafts, Coffee, Peanuts, Cashew, Spices and Condiments, Health and Organic products, Paper products, and Home Style are showcased during the Bazaar.

The 9th National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP) ICT Summit last November 16-17, 2017 was held at the Limketkai Atrium and Rosario Pavillion, Cagayan de Oro City and Promote NorMin as one of the minor sponsors.
Pasalubong products from the SME's are showcased during the event to promote local products from Northern Mindanao.

Kumbira, the biggest and mouthwatering culinary show and live competitions organized by the Cagayan de Oro Hotel and Restaurant Association (COHARA), was held last November 22-23, 2017 at the Limketkai Atrium, Cagayan de oro City with the theme “Eat Right” which aims to promote healthy ingredients incorporated to delicious foods and to encourage everybody to achieve a balanced diet. Also, Promote NorMin as one of the minor sponsors.
